No šādas perspektīvas raugoties\, arī kapulauku ierīkošana ir cilvēka izvēles rezultāts attiecībā pret apkārtējo vidi\, veidojot īpašu apbedīšanas ainavu. Konferences sekcijas ietvaros uzmanība tiks pievēr sta trīs nozīmīgām ar apbedīšanas ainavu saistītām tēmām:ainavas elementu nozīmei un izmantošanai apbedījumu vietu izvēlē\;kapulauku iekšējās telpiskās organizācijas un bēru rituālu saistībai ar apk ārtnes ainavu\;apbedīšanas ainavas ietekmei uz turpmāko teritorijas at tīstību. Sekcija tiek organizēta Latvijas Zinātnes padomes Fundament ālo un lietišķo pētījumu projekta “Apbedīšanas tradīcijas ainav ā: Latvijas teritorija dzelzs laikmetā (1. – 1200. g.)” (lzp-2021/1- 0163) ietvaros.Konferences sekcijā projekta izpildītāji iepazīstinās ar savu pētījumu rezultātiem\, kas saistīti ar apbedīšanas tradīcij ām ainavā Latvijas teritorijā dzelzs laikmetā. Papildu tam aicinām pr ezentēt pētījumus\, kas skar ne vien konkrētu apbedīšanas ainavu pro blemātiku\, bet arī vispārējus ar ainavu un vides arheoloģijas izpēt es metodēm\, pieejām u.tml. saistītus jautājumus\, kas rosinātu tāl ākus un arvien daudzpusīgākus pētījumus par apbedīšanas tradīcijā m ainavā.Konferences sekcija notiks klātienē Rīgā\, Kalpaka bulvārī 4 (norises vieta tiks precizēta). Sekcijas darba valoda – latviešu\, angļu.Ziņojumu pieteikšana konferencei līdz 15. martam\, aizpildot re ģistrācijas formu zemāk.Pieteikumā lūdzam norādīt ziņojuma autoru( s)\, nosaukumu un saturu (līdz 500 zīmēm). Par referātu pieņemšanu k onferencei tiks paziņots līdz 22. martam.Elektroniskā formā Latvijas U niversitātes repozitorijā tiks publicēts konferences tēžu krājums. T ēzes (aptuveni 1500 zīmes) krājumam jāiesniedz līdz 2024. gada 1. apr īlim.The Latvian Institute of History of the University of Latvia organiz es the section "Burial practices in the landscape" on April 10\, 2024\, wi thin the framework of the 82nd International scientific conference of the University of Latvia.In archaeology\, landscape is seen as constituted in the intersection of cultural\, social and environmental dynamics\, as both the medium and the outcome of human activity. In this view\, the placemen t of burial areas\, too\, is the result ofchoices made by individuals in a society with regard to the landscape\, thus creating a specific mortuary landscape. The conference session will focus on three main issues related to the mortuary landscape:significance of landscape elements and their rol e in the placement and mutual arrangement of burial sites\;the interaction between burial sites’ internal structure and landscape elements\;mortua ry landscape’s influence on later development of territory. The section is organised within a frame of the Latvian Council of Science Fundamental and Applied Research Project “Burial practices in the landscape: presen t-day Latvia in the Iron Age (AD 1–1200)” (lzp-2021/1-0163).The confer ence section will be held in Riga\, Kalpaka blvd. 4.
