DESCRIPTION:Speakers: TBC\n\nThe session “Emerging Science: Shaping Tomo
 rrow’s Technologies” offers a forward-looking forum for University of 
 Latvia researchers to present innovative ideas\, prototypes\, and technolo
 gical developments with significant potential for industry uptake in the n
 ear future. Designed to bridge exploratory research with future market nee
 ds\, the session highlights developments that can spark new collaborations
 \, guide investment decisions\, and support Latvia’s long-term innovatio
 n and competitiveness priorities. Presentations are encouraged across all
  fields connected to Latvia’s Smart Specialisation Strategy\, including:
 the knowledge-intensive bioeconomy\;biomedicine\, medical technologies\, a
 nd bio-pharmacy\;smart materials\, technologies\, and engineering systems\
 ;smart energy and mobility\;information and communication technologies. C
 ontributions that explore cross-sector synergies or propose interdisciplin
 ary approaches to emerging technological challenges are especially welcome
 . A distinctive element of this session is its collaborative presentation
  format. Scientists are invited to jointly present with industry represent
 atives\, offering complementary perspectives on the future potential and a
 pplication of emerging research. These joint presentations will provide in
 sights into how cutting-edge scientific developments can evolve into produ
 cts\, services\, and solutions with market relevance\, as well as identify
  promising directions for new partnerships and joint innovation initiative
 s. Researchers are encouraged to introduce emerging concepts\, proof-of-p
 rinciple solutions\, analytical methods\, experimental breakthroughs\, or 
 novel technological platforms that address sectoral challenges or open new
  pathways for value creation. The session aims to showcase the diversity 
 and forward vision of scientific ideas developing within the University of
  Latvia\, stimulate dialogue between academia and industry\, and support t
 he early identification of research with strong innovation and market pote

 tives\, investors\, students\, policymakers\, and all stakeholders interes

 odrošina pētniekiem iespēju prezentēt novatoriskas idejas\, prototipus
  un tehnoloģiskos sasniegumus\, kuriem ir ievērojams potenciāls tuvāka
 jā nākotnē izpelnīties industrijas interesi. Sesija ir veidota\, lai s
 asaistītu pētījumus ar nākotnes tirgus vajadzībām\, un tajā tiek iz
 celti sasniegumi\, kas var veicināt jaunas sadarbības\, palīdzēt pieņ
 emt investīciju lēmumus un atbalstīt Latvijas ilgtermiņa inovāciju un
  konkurētspējas prioritātes. Aicinām iesniegt prezentācijas par vis
 ām jomām\, kas saistītas ar Latvijas viedo specializācijas stratēģij
 u\, tostarp: zināšanu intensīvo bioekonomiku\; biomedicīnu\, medicīna
 s tehnoloģijām un biofarmāciju\; viedajiem materiāliem\, tehnoloģijā
 m un inženiersistēmām\; viedo enerģētiku un mobilitāti\; informācij
 as un komunikāciju tehnoloģijām.Īpaši gaidīti ir darbi\, kuros pēt
 īta starpnozaru sinerģija vai ierosinātas starpdisciplinārās pieejas 
 jaunajiem tehnoloģiskajiem izaicinājumiem.Šīs sesijas īpaša iezīme 
 ir sadarbības prezentācijas formāts. Zinātnieki ir aicināti sniegt pr
 ezentācijas kopīgi ar nozares pārstāvjiem\, piedāvājot savstarpēji 
 papildinošu skatījumu par jaunāko pētījumu nākotnes potenciālu un p
 ielietojumu. Šīs kopīgās prezentācijas sniegs ieskatu par to\, kā ja
 unākie zinātniskie sasniegumi var attīstīties par produktiem\, pakalpo
