DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Signe Tomsone (LU Botāniskais dārzs)\, Guntis Tabo
rs\, Gederts Ievins\n\nAugu zinātne\, ekosistēmu noturība un ilgtspēj
īgi bioresursi Sekcijas sēdes konferencē tiek aplūkotas dažādas Lat
vijā un ārpus Latvijas sastopamās augu sugas\, to izplatības tendences
topiem\, to novērtēšanas iespējas\, trūkumi un priekšrocības. Sekci

tainable BioresourcesSection sessions of the conference address various pl
ant species found in Latvia and beyond\, their distribution trends and eco
logical conditions\, retrospective changes of different ecosystems (grassl
 ands\, forests\, bogs\, dunes) over time and successional processes\, as w
ell as the impact of environmental factors (natural and anthropogenic) on
ecosystems and habitats\, including possibilities\, limitations\, and adva
ntages of their assessment. The section is dedicated to issues related to
living plant collections\, plant breeding\, and diversity analysis. It als
o covers fundamental aspects of plant biology\, and plant biology approach
es are applied to address various challenges in nature conservation\, biot
echnology\, and agriculture.Researchers are invited to share their researc
h results and latest innovations in order to more effectively promote the
development of research directions related to ecology\, plant physiology\,
plant science\, and plant introduction and breeding.Format: in personWor
