Efficiency of public administration

No 2026.gada 14.aprīļa līdz 16.aprīlim notiks Latvijas Universitātes 84.starptautiskā zinātniskā konference, kuras ietvaros 16.aprīlī norisināsies konferences pasākumi saistībā ar valsts pārvaldes efektivitātes izpētes virzienu. Šajā tēmā notiks plenārsēde un konferences sekcijas. Plenārsēde būs veltīta Satversmes tiesas 30 gadu jubilejai un norisināsies paneļdiskusijas formā, ļaujot aplūkot šo gadu laikā pieņemto Satversmes tiesas nolēmumu ietekmi no dažādu zinātnes nozaru perspektīvas viedokļa. Diskusija par Satversmes tiesas praksi turpināsies atsevišķā konferences sekcijā, aplūkojot Satversmes tiesas judikatūras ietekmi no dažādu tiesību zinātnes apakšnozaru viedokļa. Vēl viena konferences sekcija būs veltīta ziņojumiem par efektīvu valsti praksē, uzmanību veltot tādiem aspektiem kā birokrātijas mazināšana, digitalizācija un publisko pakalpojumu kvalitāte.

The 84th International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia will take place from 14 to 16 April 2026, during which conference events (plenary session and conference sections) related to the research direction of public administration efficiency will take place on April 16. A plenary session and conference sections will be held in this direction. The plenary session will be dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitutional Court and will take the form of a roundtable discussion, allowing us to examine the impact of the Constitutional Court's rulings adopted over these decades from the perspectives of various legal areas. The discussion of the Constitutional Court's practice will continue in a separate conference section, focusing on the impact of the Court's rulings (judicature) from the perspective of various sub-disciplines of law. Another conference section will be dedicated to reports on effective state in practice, focusing on reducing bureaucracy, increasing digitalisation, and improving the quality of public services.
