LU Latvijas vēstures institūts Latvijas Universitātes 81. starptautiskās zinātniskās konferences ietvaros 2023. gada 30. un 31. martā organizē sekciju “Konflikti un sadarbība vēsturē”.
Konference notiks klātienē, Rīgā, norises vieta tiks precizēta.
Jebkura reģiona vēsture atspoguļo tajā dzīvojušo cilvēku dažādo uzskatu, vajadzību un tradīciju saskaršanos un mijiedarbību. Satiekoties nesamierināmi dažādiem viedokļiem, šī saskaršanās izpaužas konfliktu veidā. Līdzīgi uzskati un mērķi savukārt veicina risinājumu meklējumus sadrbības ceļā.
Latvijas Universitātes 81. starptautiskajā konferencē LU Latvijas vēstures institūta rīkotajā sekcijā “Konflikti un sadarbība vēsturē” aicinām pievērsties indivīdu, cilvēku grupu, tautu un valstu savstarpējo attiecību dinamikai un tās ietekmei uz vēstures gaitu laika posmā no vissenākajiem laikiem līdz mūsdienām.
Aicinām konferences sekcijai pieteikt ziņojumus, kas pievēršas kādam no šiem jautājumiem :
- Konfliktiem pasaules vai tuvākā reģiona vēsturē, to gaitai, risināšanai un sekām;
- Ideju, pasaules uzskatu, reliģisko priekšstatu un kultūru sadursmēm un savstarpējām ietekmēm;
- Valstu, organizāciju vai cilvēku grupu sadarbības mēģinājumiem un veiksmīgas sadarbības gadījumiem vēsturē.
Ziņojumu pieteikšana konferencei līdz 15. februārim, aizpildot reģistrācijas formu zemāk.
Pieteikumā lūdzam norādīt ziņojuma autoru(s), nosaukumu un saturu (ne vairāk kā 500 zīmju apjomā). Par referātu pieņemšanu konferencei tiks paziņots līdz 20. februārim.
Tiks publicēts konferences referātu tēžu krājums. Referentiem tēzes krājumam jāiesniedz līdz 2023. gada 6. martam. Apjoms – līdz 1 lpp.
Konferences tēžu krājums tiks izdots elektroniskā formātā un ievietots Latvijas Universitātes repozitorijā.

The Latvian Institute of History of the University of Latvia organizes a panel "Conflicts and cooperation in history" on March 30 and 31, 2023, within the framework of the 81st international scientific conference of the University of Latvia.
The conference will take place in person, in Riga, the venue will be specified.
The history of any region reflects the contacts and interactions of the different beliefs, needs and traditions of the people who lived there. When irreconcilably different points of view meet, this encounter manifests itself in the form of conflicts. Similar beliefs and goals, in turn, encourage the search for solutions through cooperation.
At the 81st international conference of the University of Latvia, in the panel "Conflicts and cooperation in history" organized by the Institute of Latvian History, we invite you to focus on the dynamics of mutual relations between individuals, groups of people, peoples and countries and the influence of said dynamics on the course of history in the period from the most ancient times to the present day.
Papers addressing any of these issues or similar ones are encouraged for this conference panel::
• Conflicts in the history of the world or the nearest region, events during those conflicts, resolution of the hostilities and their consequences;
• Clashes and mutual influences of ideas, worldviews, religious concepts and cultures;
• Attempts at cooperation between countries, organizations or groups of people; cases of successful cooperation in history.
Application for the conference is open until February 15. Please apply by filling out the registration form below.
In the application, please indicate the author(s), title and short content of the paper (no more than 500 characters). Acceptance of papers for the conference will be announced by February 20.
A conference abstract volume will be published in electronic format and will be available in the repository of the University of Latvia. Participants are expected to submit short abstract (up to 1 page) of their paper for this volume by March 6, 2023.
