Sabiedrībām kļūstot arvien daudzveidīgākām, priekšplānā izvirzās jautājums par to, kā tajās nodrošināt saliedētību, savstarpēju sapratni un labklājību. Pēdējā laikā pastiprināta uzmanība ir pievērsta etniskajam dalījumam un migrantu iekļaušanai, taču izpētes vērti ir arī citi problēmjautājumi, piemēram, atšķirības starp cilvēkiem ar dažādu ienākumu līmeni, spējām, politiskajiem uzskatiem un identitāti. Šajā Latvijas Universitātes 82. starptautiskās zinātniskās konferences sekcijā aicinām ņemt dalību tiem, kuru pētījumi tā vai citādi saistās ar sabiedrības daudzveidību, uz kuru var raudzīties no visdažādākajiem skatupunktiem, un sociālo labklājību, kas var būt starpnozaru tēma ļoti plašam jautājumu lokam. Prezentācijas var būt gan latviešu, gan angļu valodā.
Pieteikumus dalībai konferences sekcijā lūdzam iesniegt līdz 2024. gada 20. aprīlim, aizpildot reģistrācijas formu zemāk. Pieteikumā lūdzam norādīt ziņojuma autoru(s), nosaukumu un pievienot referāta tēzes (nepārsniedzot 250 vārdus).

As our societies become increasingly diverse, the issue of how to ensure societal cohesion, mutual understanding, and well-being comes to the forefront. Ethnic divisions and the inclusion of migrants have recently received a lot of attention, but other divisions are also problematised such as those between people on different incomes, of different (dis)abilities, political views and identities. In this panel of the 82nd International Scientific conference of the University of Latvia we invite all whose research connects in one way or another with the diversity of society, which can be viewed in many different ways, and social welfare, which can be a cross-cutting theme for a very wide range of issues. Presentations can be either in Latvian or in English.
