The Zoology and Animal Ecology section of the conference covers a broad range of topics, ranging from the distribution of animal species and the different aspects of species' interactions with the environment to animal genetics, physiology, behaviour, conservation, and other topics in which study objects are animals.

- Breeding ecology of animals

- Animal migrations
- Applications of non-invasive methods in animal research - bioacoustics, camera trapping, environmental DNA, etc.

Reports may also be submitted on other topics related to wild animals.
