Sekcija “Ģeodinamika un ģeokosmiskie pētījumi” LU konferencē ir veltīta Zemes iekšējo un ārējo procesu izpētei, kā arī to mijiedarbībai ar kosmisko vidi. Tajā tiks aplūkoti pētījumi par Zemes garozas un mantijas dinamiku, tektoniskajiem procesiem, seismiskumu, gravitācijas un magnētiskā lauka izmaiņām, kā arī satelītu novērojumu un ģeodēzisko metožu pielietojumu. Sekcija apvieno teorētiskus un lietišķus pētījumus, veicinot starpdisciplināru sadarbību starp ģeofiziku, ģeoloģiju, ģeodēziju un kosmosa zinātnēm. Īpaša uzmanība tiks pievērsta dabas risku novērtēšanai, Zemes procesu monitorēšanai un ilgtspējīgai vides izpētei globālā kontekstā.
The section “Geodynamics and Geocosmic Research” at the University of Latvia conference is dedicated to the study of the Earth’s internal and external processes, as well as their interaction with the space environment. It will cover research on the dynamics of the Earth’s crust and mantle, tectonic processes, seismicity, variations in the gravitational and magnetic fields, as well as the application of satellite observations and geodetic methods. The section brings together theoretical and applied studies, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration among geophysics, geology, geodesy, and space sciences. Special attention will be given to natural hazard assessment, monitoring of Earth processes, and sustainable environmental research in a global context.
