Despite the fact that over the years, in most European Union countries, there has been an increase in the representation of women in politics and in the administration and management of companies and other entities, there is still no gender equality as recommended in “Leading Equality Throughout Society”, one of the three pillars of the EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020-2025.
