Saliedētības izpratnes vektori pilsoniski aktīvas sabiedrības attīstībai
Mūsdienu pasaulē, tostarp Latvijā, sociālo, politisko, kā arī idejisko ainu arvien vairāk raksturo jaunu izaicinājumu sadrumstalotība. Strauja digitālo tehnoloģiju attīstība un mediju telpas izplešanās, militārie konflikti un neokoloniāli tīkojumi, klimata straujās pārmaiņas, kā arī kultūras, paražu, tradīciju transformācijas maina ne tikai saliedētības izpratni, bet arī tās mērķus. Ideoloģiskais apjukums, polarizācija, dezinformācija un pilsoniskā atsvešinātība apdraud sabiedrības vienotību un pārvaldību. Līdz ar to ir nepieciešams pētīt un attīstīt jaunu zināšanu bāzi par aktuālajām tendencēm saliedētības, sadarbības un savstarpējās uzticēšanās jomā Latvijas sabiedrībā, dažādās sociālajās un demogrāfiskajās grupās, izzinot to dziļākos cēloņus un piedāvājot risinājumus.
Ar šo uzsaukumu, klausītāji un pētnieki tiek aicināti 2024. gada 26.-27. martā iepazīties ar jaunuzsāktā Valsts pētījumu programmas "Saliedētas un pilsoniski aktīvas sabiedrības attīstības" projekta "Sabiedrības saliedētības vektori: no saliedētības ap valstsnāciju (2012-2018) uz saliedēto pilsonisko kopienu valsts, sabiedrības un indivīdu drošības labā (2024-2025)" galvenajiem uzdevumiem un plāniem LU 82. starptautiskās zinātniskās konferences sekcijā "Saliedētības vektori pilsoniski aktīvas sabiedrības attīstībai".
VPP projekta mērķis ir veikt visaptverošu Latvijas saliedētības politikas analīzi kopš 1991. gada, interdisciplināri apvienojot gan filosofiskas refleksijas par pamata jēdzieniem, gan socioloģisku analīzi un datus, gan juridiskos, ģeogrāfiskos, ekonomiskos, sociālos, kultūras, ideoloģijas u.c. aspektus. Konferences dalībnieki ir aicināti pieteikt referātus, kas ļautu gan aktualizēt projektā būtiskākos aspektus, gan uzsākt sarunu par Latvijas valstiskumu, nacionālās identitātes apziņu, pilsoniskās sabiedrības aktivitāti, plašsaziņas līdzekļu un digitālo pakalpojumu ietekmi uz sabiedrības sadarbību, savstarpējo uzticēšanos pašvaldībām, valstij un sabiedrībai kopumā.

Vectors of Cohesion Understanding for the Development of a Civically Active Society
In the modern context, including Latvia, the social, political and ideological landscape is increasingly fragmented by both new and challenging issues. The steep development of digital technologies and the expansion of media networks, military conflicts and neo-colonial networks, rapid climate change, as well as the transformation of culture, customs and traditions are changing not only the conception of cohesion, but also its goals. Ideological confusion, polarisation, misinformation and civic alienation threaten social cohesion and governance. Consequently, there is a need to research and develop a new knowledge base on current trends regarding cohesion, cooperation and mutual trust in Latvian society, across different social and demographic groups, exploring their deeper causes and proposing solutions.
With this call, the listeners and participants are invited to get acquainted with the main objectives and perspectives of the newly launched State Research Programme "Development of a cohesive and civically active society" project "Vectors of societal cohesion: from cohesion around the nation-state (2012-2018) to a cohesive civic community for the security of the state, society and individuals (2024-2025)" at the 82nd International Scientific Conference of the Universtiy of Latvia, 26-27 March 2024, in the section "Vectors of Cohesion Understanding for the Development of a Civically Active Society".
The aim of the SRP project is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of Latvia's cohesion policy since 1991, in an interdisciplinary way combining philosophical reflections on basic concepts, sociological analysis and data, legal, geographical, economic, social, cultural, ideological and other aspects. Participants are encouraged to submit papers that would both highlight the most relevant aspects of the project and initiate a conversation on Latvia's statehood, national identity, civil society activity, the influence of media and digital services on public cooperation, mutual trust in local governments, the state and society as a whole.
Registration is open until 1 March, 2024.
