The conference venue
The conference will be held at the new Academic Centre of University of Latvia (Jelgavas iela 1 and 3). The buildings are located within a 10-minute walking distance from the Latvian National Library, which is just across the bridge from Riga's Old Town. Since the conference will take place in the summer, it will be the perfect time to explore beautiful Riga!
Accomodations
Conference participants will have the opportunity to stay at the Bellevue Park Hotel (****), located a 20-minute walk from the venue, next to one of Riga's largest parks. The hotel is also easily accessible from the city center by tram. The cost is 70 EUR per night, including breakfast, and the hotel offers free parking. It is also close to Āgenskalns market, a recently renovated market featuring food stalls and vendors selling local delicacies.
Public transport in Riga
Riga has an efficient public transport system. The most convenient options for reaching the conference venue are tram 1 and bus 53. We recommend using the Riga public tranport planner for detailed routes and schedules.
