The section offers a scientific platform for the presentation of original research, innovative methodologies, case studies, and practical solutions in the field of climate change and environmental sustainability. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in professional discussions, gain international experience, and build scientific networks through oral and poster presentation sessions, plenary meetings, and panel discussions. Researchers, early-career scientists, and practitioners are encouraged to participate in fostering the advancement of knowledge, collaboration, and evidence-based action toward a sustainable and climate-resilient future.

Technical details:
For oral presentations, the allocated time is 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion. We kindly ask you to submit your presentations by April 13 to olga.sozinova@lu.lv, with iveta.steinberga@lu.lv and agrita.briede@lu.lv copied. Preferred file formats are .ppt or .pdf. Link for online participation will be placed on the conference webpage several days before the conference.
For the poster session, A0 and A1 formats are acceptable. The orientation should be portrait. Poster templates (.ppt and Canva) are available here: https://konference84.lu.lv/en/materials/poster-presentations/ Please be prepared to give a brief on-site presentation of 2–3 minutes during the time indicated in the programme. Poster installation will take place on April 16, from 08:30 to 09:00, before the start of the session. The poster session is scheduled from 16:00 to 16:45 (check the programme attached). Please note that posters must be printed in advance. There will be no option for digital poster display or on-site printing.
During the conference, two coffee breaks (with coffee, tea, and snacks provided) and a one-hour lunch break are scheduled. Lunch can be purchased at the eateries located in the Jelgavas iela 1 and Jelgavas iela 3 buildings, as well as at several nearby cafés, including those at Mūkusalas Biznesa centrs (approximately an 8–10 minute walk).
We kindly invite all attendees to participate in the plenary session and to engage actively in both the morning and afternoon sessions.
