COVID-19 pandēmijas izraisītā krīze, karš Ukrainā un briestošā ekonomiskā krīze ir pastiprinājusi sociālo spriedzi un padziļinājusi sociālās nesaskaņas praktiski visā pasaulē, īpaši skarot Eiropas valstis un ASV, kā rezultātā sabiedrības polarizācija ekonomiski attīstītajās valstīs šobrīd ir būtiski lielāka, nekā tā bijusi jebkad 21. gadsimtā. Šajā sociāli, ģeopolitiski un ekonomiski saspringtajā laikā ir vitāli nepieciešams izzināt un sekot līdzi sabiedrības un dažādu sabiedrības grupu noskaņojuma, vērtību un attieksmju maiņai, kas ir pamatā valstiskuma apziņas, nacionālās identitātes un piederības sajūtu Latvijai veidošanā.
Aicinām pieteikt referātus, kas veltīti mūsdienu Eiropas un Latvijas kultūras vērtību izmaiņām konfliktu kontekstā; humānisma vērtību modernajām interpretācijām; posthumānismam un eko-fenomenoloģijai; morālajām, politiskajām, ekoloģiskajām tēmām cilvēksituācijas izmaiņu kontekstā; mūsdienu reliģiozitātes paradigmai Eiropā un Latvijā; kā arī cilvēku garīgajiem meklējumiem robežsituācijās un reliģiozitātes izmaiņām Krievijas agresijas Ukrainā un citu Eiropā aktuālo krīžu kontekstā.
Pieteikumus dalībai konferences sekcijā lūdzam iesniegt līdz 2023. gada 26. martam, aizpildot reģistrācijas formu zemāk. Pieteikumā lūdzam norādīt ziņojuma autoru(s), nosaukumu un pievienot referāta tēzes (nepārsniedzot 500 vārdus). Par referāta pieņemšanu konferencei tiks paziņots līdz 3. aprīlim.
Konferences tēžu krājums tiks izdots elektroniskā formātā un ievietots Latvijas Universitātes repozitorijā.
Lai apmeklētu konferences sekciju, klausītājiem jāreģistrējas līdz 2023. gada 17. aprīlim.
Sekcija tiek organizēta projekta: “Kultūras, identitātes, starpkultūru komunikācijas un cilvēksituācijas pētījumi humānisma vērtību, konfliktu un krīžu kontekstā” ietvaros.

The crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine and the growing economic crisis have increased social tensions and deepened social discord practically all over the world, especially affecting European countries and the United States. In the result, the polarization of society in economically developed countries is now significantly greater than it has been at any time in the 21st century. In this socially, geopolitically and economically tense time, it is vitally necessary to ascertain the changes in the sentiment, values and attitudes of society and its various groups, which are the basis for the formation of the sense of statehood, national identity and belonging to Latvia.
We invite scholars to submit papers dedicated to the changes in modern European and Latvian cultural values in the context of conflicts; to modern interpretations of humanist values; to posthumanism and eco-phenomenology; to moral, political, ecological topics in the context of changes in the human condition; to the modern paradigm of religiosity in Europe and Latvia; to the spiritual searches of people in conflict situations; to the changes in religiosity in the context of Russian aggression in Ukraine and other current crises in Europe.
Please submit applications for participation in the conference by March 26, 2023 by filling out the registration form below. In the application, please indicate the author(s) of the report, the title and the abstract of the report (not exceeding 500 words). Acceptance of papers for the conference will be announced by April 3.
A conference abstract volume will be published in electronic format and will be available in the repository of the University of Latvia.
To attend the conference panel, please fill in the registration form by April 16, 2023.
