Viens no atmiņas institūciju mērķiem ir saglabāt kolektīvo atmiņu un to padarīt pieejamu problēmu risināšanai, jaunu zināšanu radīšanai, iedvesmai un radošām izpausmēm, uzturot un attīstot cilvēku dabīgo intelektu. Memory Institutions between Natural and Artificial Intelligence
One of the core missions of memory institutions is preservation of collective memory and its accessibility for problem solving, the creation of new knowledge, inspiration and creative expression, thereby supporting the maintenance and development of human natural intelligence. How are memory institutions transforming in a context where interactions between natural and artificial intelligence are becoming increasingly intensive?
The section will address topics such as the role of memory institutions within the information and social space, the contribution of publishing industry and new challenges, changes in information practices, the impact of digital technologies on information services and organization of bibliographic data, occupational stress and burnout among librarians, as well as research and reading habits of students in the field, and other related issues.
