History, languages and the resilience of identity
The 84th International Scientific Conference of the University of Latvia will take place from 14.04.2026. until 16.04.2026., offering to participate with presentations of research results in one of the 6 sessions of the conference of the topic "History, Language and the Resilience of Identity". Seven thematic sections are dedicated to the latest discoveries within the field of humanities. How do past experiences and their interpretations shape history, memory, and cultural heritage? How do linguistic diversity and linguistic practices contribute to the resilience of community and individual identities in an ever-changing environment? How do various long-term factors influence the transformation of meanings, ideas, and values in society?
No 2026. gada 14. līdz 16. martam notiks Latvijas Universitātes 84. starptautiskā zinātniskā konference, kurā ir iespēja piedalīties ar pētījumu rezultātiem vienā no konferences 6 sekcijām par tēmu “Vēsture, valoda un identitātes noturība”. Septiņas tematiskās sekcijas ir veltītas jaunākajiem atklājumiem humanitāro zinātņu kompetences laukā, pievēršoties sabiedrībai nozīmīgiem jautājumiem. Kā pagātnes pieredzes un to interpretācijas veido vēsturi, atmiņas un kultūras mantojumu? Kā valodu daudzveidība un lingvistiskās prakses virza kopienu un indivīdu identitātes noturību mainīgā vidē? Kā dažādi ilgtermiņa ietekmes faktori ietekmē nozīmju, ideju un vērtību transformāciju sabiedrībā?
