FORTHEM supports Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs) in advancing their research-related and transversal skills, fostering grant application expertise, and building networks within and beyond academia.
FORTHEM Academy offers a range of tailored training opportunities, including workshop series, master classes, hybrid mentorship schemes, and individual support measures. ESRs can also benefit from information on co-tutelle arrangements, research stays funded at non-academic partner institutions, and more.
In addition to training, FORTHEM provides platforms to showcase research. ESRs can present their individual or team projects to peers and the public through annual conferences, open science project contests, bi-annual science slams, and innovative dissemination and publishing options like the open-access FORTHEM Journal.
